09:29 am - Cincinnati & Blue Ash Chili
Remember the Saturday before last when I went to Blue Ash Chili in Cincinnati for lunch? Well, it was really crowded. I had to sit outside (or wait even longer for a table), and my chili took a long time to arrive, and when it did, it had started to cool off, and by the time I was almost finished eating, the cheese had congealed into a cold, amorphous mass.
Other than that, it was pretty good, and I wanted to try going there again. So yesterday, I left Pittsburgh and drove to Cincinnati, where I am now. I went to Blue Ash Chili again, for dinner. They were much less crowded than the last time, so I was able to get a table right away and get served promptly.
I tried the Chili Philly, which is a Philly cheesesteak sandwich topped with chili. It was good, but there was so much meat on it I could barely taste the chili!
Today I want to go there for lunch again before I hit the road to get to my next destination (which will be Jackson, Tennessee). Since it's Tuesday instead of Saturday, and since I'm up early, I expect the place not to be crowded again. Hopefully I'll be properly able to enjoy the chili this time!
