Hard salami the hard way

Well, I have learned the hard way that if you want to put hard salami on a sandwich, you'd best cut it *thin*. Extra-thin. I ordered it cut thick at the deli to try experimentally, and now I have these thick chewy salami disks that make terrible sandwich meat because they just pull out. Now what do I do with them?
