New Speedy Gonzales movie in the works, starring George Lopez as the voice of the fastest mouse een all Mejico. Underdog, Marmaduke, Speedy Gonzales... are Hollywood directors playing some game of "who can make the dumbest movie based on a cartoon character" or something? The first sentence of this paragraph (which, technically, is a sentence fragment, lacking a verb) sounds like an Onion headline or something. What next, Rubik The Amazing Cube: The Movie?

Billboard company nixes puppet cleavage on Avenue Q billboards in Colorado Springs, figuring it wouldn't go over well. They're probably right; Colorado Springs is the home of Christian right-wing nuts such as Focus on the Family. Still, I think they made the wrong decision. Being forced to see puppet cleavage once in a while is good for ya! Builds character.

Didja see the Atlas V rocket take off on Feb. 11? It made ripples in the sky that wiped out a nearby sun dog!

Re: never seen that before

What was unique about the film is that the shockwave scatters the floating ice crystals that form a rainbow looking effect called a Sun Dog. As the shockwave passes, the rainbow vanishes.

I'd considered bringing the Avenue Q censorship to your attention (are they stuck in the '40s?), but then I thought it'd just piss you off.

Rubik can't be much worse an idea than View-Master. DreamWorks, it was pretty recently that I started respecting you; don't throw it away.

First, there was the Super Mario Bros. movie.
Then came Street Fighter.
And now comes the most exciting film ever based on a video game.

PONG: The Motion Picture.

Starring Elliot Gould:
"You take this white square and keep it on your side!

And Lee Majors:
"You keep the white square on your side!"

(Elliot:) "Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!"

Boop. Bip. Boop. Bip.

Pong: The Motion Picture.
Coming to a very small theatre near you - for about a week.

As to Avenue Q, I would think there's a LOT more in that show that they'd have problems with than Muppet cleavage ...
