There's a chorus of singing boxes, there's Gary Coleman ("yes, that Gary Coleman" (disclaimer: not actually played by Gary Coleman)), there's a puppet sex scene, there's a puppet-giving-another-puppet-the-finger scene, and there's a screen (well, a pair of screens) that descend every now and then and display Sesame-Street-esque animations explaining stuff to the characters and the audience. ("1 2 3 4 5. Five nightstands. 5 4 3 2 1. One nightstand. [bed with movement under covers] One-night stand.")
One of my favorite moments from the show: Princeton & Kate Monster have unwisely gotten drunk at the suggestion of the Bad Idea Bears, and been having sex all night. (That's not the moment I'm referring to, though it was quite fun.) The next day, as they lie in a fuzzy heap in her bed, the phone rings. Kate suddenly wakes up and turns her head so her eyes are visible, and somehow there's a perfect look of "oh shit, did I oversleep?" in them. The audience laughs. :}
Darn it... I used Google Maps to study the route to the theatre, and I got there with no trouble at all, not missing a turn and pulling straight into the theatre garage. But then when it was time to go home, I exited on a different street... uh oh, how do I get on the freeway from here? Forgot to check that part. Well, I drove a bit and found myself on Allen Parkway, and I know how to get home from there, so I did; it just took longer.
So, um... yaay, I now own a legally purchased copy of "The Internet is for Porn"!
