This Happy Interest Matter Does With Babelfish.

Here's a fun thing to do with Altavista's Babelfish translation page:

Type in an English sentence. Translate it into Chinese (simplified or traditional; doesn't matter which). Copy the Chinese text and paste it into the "Translate again" textbox. Put periods between each pair of characters. Translate back into English (using the same variation of Chinese, simplified or traditional, as before). Laugh at the results.

Example:
Welcome to Live Journal.
...translated into Chinese-simplified becomes...
欢迎居住学报。
...copied into the Translate Again textbox and interlaced with periods becomes...
欢.迎.居.住.学.报。
...translated from Chinese-simplified back into English becomes...
Happy Welcomes Occupies Lives Studies Newspaper.

Other examples:

I wish I knew how to quit you.
我祝愿我会放弃您。
我.祝.愿.我.会.放.弃.您。
I Wishes Hopes I Meets Puts Abandons You.

Love means never having to say you're sorry.
爱意味从未必须说您抱歉。

(Hey, who doesn't love Italy taste?)
