Mom and I went to see "Ratatouille". She loved it!

Unfortunately we picked a bad day & time to go. The theatre was filled with two schoolbusloads and one vanload of little children, who kept failing to be quiet, and because of where we were sitting, every time some kid had to go potty (which was about every 5 minutes), they and their parents walked right in front of us. And this isn't a very good movie for little kids anyway because they keep failing to understand what's going on and asking their parents "Mommy, why is he doing that?"

But like I said, Mom loved it and I enjoyed seeing it again. And I spotted the Pizza Planet truck! In the scene where Skinner is chasing Remy along the canal, and Remy starts hopping onto the boats, the Pizza Planet truck is briefly visible in the distance, on a bridge over the canal. It appears twice, but blink and you'll miss it. When the movie comes out on DVD and someone takes a screenshot to show the truck, they're going to have to draw a circle around it. Maybe do that thing where the whole image is darkened except inside the circle.

Current Mood: cheerfulhaving a Ratatouille icon

Yeah what is up with that? "This article contains a trivia section. This is bad somehow. Please change it." Sheesh.

Probably because it's hard to corroborate with a citation.

KT, I thought I had it bad when the kid in front of me (possibly speaking French) kept talking to his dad -- who talked even more in reply. In the past, I've kind of enjoyed sharing a theater with little kids for appropriate films, like when the girl next to me needed a brief explanation of why time slowed down in Over the Hedge. It was another story when a little boy wailed during a quiet scene in Revenge of the Sith and his parents didn't take him out of the theater.

A reviewer suggested that Ratatouille is even more adult-oriented than The Incredibles. I don't know about that.

Yeah, The Incredibles is about SUPERHEROES. Ratatouille is about COOKEENG. In ze keetchen. It's more "adult-oriented" in a "kids might not find the subject matter exciting" kinda way.

And no, citations aren't the problem. Wikipedia's "This is trivia" bar doesn't say "Please add citations", it says "Please incorporate these into the rest of the article." They've specifically got a problem with something being labeled as trivia.

Oh, I see. They're afraid of getting trivialized as a source of explicit trivia. Typical Wiki Warlord arrogance.

There's a real Pizza Planet in Disney World, MGM Studios. Babs and I got pizza there. Pretty good pizza, but there's a horribly long wait in line for it.
