1. Nothing wrong with mocap if it's done right. (In fact, you can replace "mocap" in that sentence with pretty much any technique ever used in animation.) And yes, I loved the documentary style of it.

2. I even had a laser pointer in my bag at the time. And I'd like to point out I left it in there the whole time. Also that if they ban laser pointers in theatres, I'd be happy to leave it in the trunk of my car, along with my camera. (It's a still camera, which apparently they don't mind, but leaving it behind saves time when they want to search my bag.)

3. I've been reading articles about Ratatouille in which the writer wonders whether the "squeamish factor" will hurt the movie. Are there people out there who are seriously so afraid of rats that they'd avoid this movie? If it were roaches, I could understand, but c'mon, Remy and Emile are cute!

4. No, I don't think you did.

The first preview I saw for Ratatouille with just the rats had me wanting to see the film. The second preview I saw which showed the human chef being something of, well, a sad goof turned me off enough that I am debating whether to see the picture or not.

3. I bet this movie will do for rats what "101 Dalmatians" did fot that breed.

4. You'll find it here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/380001/ It's general audience, so you don't need an FA account to see it.
