How many movies can you think of that have deliberately misspelled words or bad grammar in their titles? Examples: The Pursuit of Happyness, Pet Sematary.

(Movie titles, not song titles. Song titles with poor English are a dime a duzzen. Song titles that are also movie titles are okay, though.)

I read somewhere that "I'm Gonna Git You Sucka" was originally going to be called "Imo Git U Sucka", but they had to translate it into white-audience-ese. :}

Does "MIIB" count?

Since the full title of that movie is Men In Black II, I'd say no.

But I was hoping someone'd mention Sweet Sweetback's Baadasssss Song!

Attack of the the Eye Creatures, of course! Although that was the fault of the distributor who changed the title in a transparent attempt to trick video stores into buying the same movie twice.

Freaked was original titled Hideous Mutant Freekz, though I guess it doesn't count if they chicken out and correct the title.

There was Kalifornia, starring a pre-"X-Files" post-"Twin Peaks" David Duchovny, also featuring the always-awesome Michelle Forbes.

That's about all I can think of at the moment, and by "think of" I mean "look at my DVD shelves and see." Except Zombiez, of course, which shouldn't be mentioned, let alone watched.

I think there should be 49 other misspelled state movies. Who wouldn't line up to see Texus, Oregun, Arkansaw, Missoura, Tenesee, or Minisoda?

    I haven't seen that first one, but I have seen some Leningrad Cowboys videos on YouTube. Wacky costumes, and yet surprisingly good music!

    Good choices! In fact, if I recall, the main character in "Antz" was named Z, so the title could also suggest "Ant Z".

    Now let's have lunch at Neiman Marcus's, and dinner at Saks Fifth Avenue's.

    I'm surprised this one hasn't come up bad-grammar wise! It surely takes the cake!

    Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan

    (From what I can tell, the movie is as bad as the grammar.)

    The movie is in very bad taste, but I wouldn't call it a bad movie. You will laugh when you see it, just not a good healthy laugh. :)

    Lynne Truss lists Who Framed Roger Rabbit as an example of bad grammar because of the lack of a question mark. I disagree. It could be part of the declaration, "I want to know who framed Roger Rabbit."

    Good answers, although I think it was actually written as "THIR13EN GHOSTS" (it works better in all caps anyway). And yeah, I agree about Who Framed Roger Rabbit. Could be a relative pronoun as easily as an interrogative.
