BEWARE THE KILLER TORTOISE - The online computery journal thingy of a turtle

08:06 pm - BEWARE THE KILLER TORTOISE

Previous Entry Share Next Entry

Look out, kittycat! He is relentless! He's all like, "BEWARE, I LIVE!" "RUN, COWARD!" Watch closely at 1:01, when the tortoise charges the camera in full raging fury. Also at about 1:45, he's apparently chewed off the cat's entire coat of fur.

Holy bitey-turtles, Batman!

I didn't know turtles could even move that fast. That sucker was bookin all over the place. It really gave the cat a run for its money.

Heh, wonder if that turtle's been hanging out with the ninja chipmunk.

This reminds me of those horror films about killer frogs or earthworms or bunny rabbits.

I would like to say they're a relic of the 70's, but they pop up in every decade. And six times a year, since the SciFi Channel started doing original movies!

How does one view what the time elapsed is on the YouTube vids? FSR, my YouTube playbacks show "time remaining", so in order to see what happened at 1:01 and 1:45 I had to calculate backwards fromt he start time. I figured it out well enough from your descriptoins though.

The simplest way is to click the "YouTube" logo at bottom right, which will take you to the YouTube page on which that video is hosted. The widget on that page has more complete navigational controls (and info about the video and who put it up, and comments, and no distracting logo in the corner!)

(Mind you, the comments on YouTube suck as often as not. Some clever discussion, mixed in with a buncha stupid teenagers who keep calling each other "dumbass" or yelling "Fake" or posting idiotic chain-letter spam. Fortunately, this is easily ignored by just not scrolling down.)

For those evil turtles that enter your lawn, the new Turbo Turtle Catapult! Launch those turtles out of your yard and into your neighbors, and watch the fun begin as they begin chasing your neighbors bratty kids, instead of your poor innocent housecat
