Who is talking? OMG characters in a Lio strip are talking! How can this be?

Actually though, I remember seeing spoken lines in Lio before. Just not very often. Kinda like on "Mr. Bean".

Many syndicated cartoonists have commented on Comics Curmudgeon. J'ever notice a licorice in-joke in Cory Thomas's "Watch Your Head"?

The best part is that this strip was Lio's debut in The Washington Post.
