Wow KT! These were great. Thanks for posting such good pictures and great descriptions so that those that couldn't go could live vicariously through you, and your adventures!

I love that you took pictures of odd buildings and people so we could see all the places you guys went. I have a bad habit of just taking pictures of things that I want to remember, and not the daily goings on of a con, or anything that we do and want to share. Perhaps I'll do better, seeing this done here.

Thanks again! I hope everyone that went had a load of fun.

You're welcome, and thanks for your comments!

I like having a digital camera. I can take pictures of all kinds of stuff, and never have to worry about changing film!

Great pics! I like how you kept yourself out of mirrors/other reflective surfaces (like in the gym) unless you wanted yourself there. (You didn't Photoshop yoruself out did you?) And some of the first pictures, still in dock, seem to be quite long, did you use a wide-angle lense, or photoshop a few pics together?

I would have liked to have seen a pitcture of (I heard there is one) the monument at Key West denoting the southernmost point in the lower 48, I"m a geography geek, so I collect these things. (I"ve already personally visited the northernmost point of the lower 48, but I doubt I"ll have a chance to see the southernmost.

As for being the closest you'll ever get to Cuba, reason #848 for being a Canadian, we are free to visit Cuba any time we want, and is a very popular summer vacation place for Canadians (someone from work is planning on going there in a few days, as she is part of a wedding party that will be vacationing there), maybe because there's no Americans. ;)

And, minor nit, you spelled harbour wrong. ;)

Yeah, I generally had to stay out of mirrors if I didn't want the flash washing out part of the picture. And yes, the long pictures were made by stitching three or four photos together using a program called PhotoStitch.

I took a picture of the Southernmost monument in Key West when I went there after Megaplex in 2005, but I've been lazy and haven't yet put up pictures from that trip. Maybe I'll get to it someday.

And minor nit to me: Cuba is often visited by hordes of Canucks in the *winter* not summer, guess I'm just stuck on their warm temps that I can't associate them with winter.

A tad jealous

I piled the blankets high on myself last night. My hands aren't exactly warm, either.

The purple lion you identified as Banshee is actually Karik. Banshe is the blue husky that appears on Friday. The other lion is Kanu and the orange and grey critter is Dynamite.

Most of the staff took the fursuiters pretty well, but the woman in this photo shrieked when I suddenly came into her view.

The cruise was a lot of fun. I'm glad we were able to share a room together. Thanks for being a great roommate.

Thanks for the names and info! I've just made the necessary corrections.

And thanks for being a great roommate too! And for putting up with my painful sunburn (which by the way is healed now!)
