Song parody time!

This is a song parody I wrote, to the tune of "(What's So Funny 'Bout) Peace, Love and Understanding?" by Elvis Costello. The original is a protest song, and I rejiggered it to be about what I wanna protest about! :}


As I surf through
The internet
Searching for news and comics and mp3s

I ask myself
Is all hope lost
For people who write the language correctly

And each time I read my mailing lists
There's one thing I wanna know:
What's so hard about
Spelling and punctuation?


And as I scroll down
Through forums online
I find myself
Wanting to strangle dumb guys

So what is a 'tounge'
And when is 'tomarrow'
And where's the apostrophe? (nowhere to see)

And each time I see a comma fault
It just makes me wanna type:
