“This is KT, and I'm in Tallahassee, Florida. Let's see...
Oh, the weather in south Florida was awful. It rained heavily on me the whole way. It wasn't until I got to I-10 that the rain let up. It's still gray and yucky out there, and cold. I have to put my jacket on. The cold weather that I went down there to take a vacation from is back...or, rather, I'm back in it.
Eh. Anyway. Oh, yes...and coming north on I-75, I saw a ...you know those, uh, how sometimes there'll be like a truck driving down the freeway, with a big house, or half a house on it, it's all wrapped up and it says WIDE LOAD? I saw one of those overturned. The house was sitting there, upside down and broken on the highway, and there was a long line of cars stuck behind it. Fortunately, that was on the southbound side. I didn't get caught in that. (cough, cough) Then a few miles later, I saw an ambulance heading down south. I guess it was going for them.
And...I expected to make it all the way to Pensacola, or perhaps even Mobile today, but what with one delay and another, I've only made it as far as Tallahassee. Had to get off the road because I'm tired, the weather's bad. I may get home tomorrow or Saturday. We'll see.
