I got a rather late start checking out of the hotel today, after which I was in the mood to go to Quizno's for lunch. Fortunately, I knew where it was, thanks to the Midwest Furfest Dining Guide for the area around the Hyatt Regency O'Hare. It was just a few severals of blocks away... so I drove there.
Unfortunately, there was no Quizno's in sight.
Grumbling at the valuable driving time I'd thus wasted, I turned around to drive in the other direction to look for someplace else to eat at. After another several blocks or two, I found Potbelly Sandwich Works, where I stopped and had A Wreck (a sandwich with various different meats) for lunch.
Later in the day, I checked the MFF Dining Guide again to see where the mistake was. The Dining Guide has a map in the middle, but it's labeled with numbers instead of restaurant names, and you have to read the other pages to match up numbers to businesses.
D'oh, it was my mistake. Quizno's was 51, which I'd misread as 15. Curse you, decimal system!
Anyway, I spent the day driving from Chicago to Cape Girardeau, MO, where I ate at Red Lobster again and checked into the Holiday Inn Express for the night.
