Ho ho ho! Merry Christmas!

So I went to Cactus Records today to pick up R.E.M.'s latest, "Around the Sun", which is out just today in fact. As I went in, I saw a poster for "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind". Oh yeah, that's on DVD now, isn't it? So I went in, grabbed a copy of Eternal Sunshine, and headed over to look for R.E.M.... and then I noticed that the voice singing over the store speaker system sounded familiar. Is that John McCrea? Is this new Cake?? Sure enough, Cake's got a new album! Pressure Chief! IT'S CHRISTMAS!!

So now I have:
  1. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, written by Charlie "Being John Malkovich" Kaufman and directed by Michel "best music videos EVER" Gondry and starring Jim Carrey in the less Jim Carreyish role for a change.
  2. "Around the Sun" by R.E.M. whose lyrics usually don't make much sense but are fun to mumble along with.
  3. "Pressure Chief" by Cake whose lyrics are usually very abstruse but are fun to sing along clearly with.

And hey, I have a CD player in my car! I don't even have to wait till I get home to hear them!
