My bag is stuck in the trunk of my car and I can't get it out. This is because its zipper is snagged on that stupid useless evil net that stretches across the opening and holds stuff. I can't just reach in and pull the zipper loose because when I tried earlier, my back gave out painfully. And it was raining. Right now my back is recovering, but still sore, and I'm waiting for the rain to go away.

What can I do while I wait? Certainly not finish the cartoon I drew after lunch at Schlotzsky's today; the sketchbook is IN THE BAG. THE BAG I CAN'T GET. The bag I could very easily get if it weren't for the fact that I CAN'T BEND OVER.

I hate that stupid nasty worthless net. It keeps bottles of washer fluid and Windex, a roll of paper towels and a grungy old beach towel from sliding around inside the trunk... but it also SNAGS on and GRABS everything else I try to put in there! It's not worth the trouble. I'm gonna take it out and stomp on it and hit it with hammers and cut it into a million pieces and burn it and feed it to a dragon and stomp on it again and kill kill kill!

EDIT: The rain slacked off and I got my bag. I emptied the net and unhooked it from the car, then brought the bag in with the net stuck on it. I sat down and was able to get the net off. Then I banished the net to a pile of junk, where bugs will gnaw at it and dust will mooch cash off it. That's all it deserves!

EDIT 2: I see what the problem is. Nets and turtles don't get along. Ask any fisherman.

"Then I banished the net to a pile of junk..."

That's too bad. I was looking for the description of how you would "take it out and stomp on it and hit it with hammers and cut it into a million pieces and burn it and feed it to a dragon and stomp on it again and kill kill kill".

Especially the hammers. And the dragon.

This reminds me of every time I've bought a car with some little accessory missing, like the cargo cover in hatchbacks or the owner's manual in...every car ever, and wondered, "Where did it go? What do people DO with these things?"

I'll probably actually just throw the net in the trunk and not use it. Maybe wrap it in a plastic bag so it won't snag anything.

Seems sensible! You don't want to get tangled up in it again. Stay away from six-pack rings, too. ;)

Of course a turtle can't bend over. It's a species-centric design feature/bug.
