You know that Caramelldansen track that shows up on YouTube sometimes, occasionally accompanied by anime characters dancing and wiggling their hands on their heads like bunny ears? Well, you might know that the original, in addition to being Swedish despite sounding like J-pop, is actually slower. The anime-bunny-ears version (known as the Speedycake remix) was made by speeding it up.

Just for fun I decided to take it in the other direction and slow down the original track. Here's what it sounds like now!

Cool! They sound like a boy-band in your slowed version.

I'd say they sound Hispanic in this version, except for one point with a string of consonants. (Shtontz?)

Pop quiz: a colon between two numbers often denotes minutes and seconds, but it can also mean a ratio. If the Speedycake remix is three half-steps above the original, and the length of the original can be read as exactly three times the ratio read from the fast version's length, what is each?

My cousin used to do this sort of thing a lot, particularly with the Chili Peppers. I should do it more myself.

This number still sounds pretty good at your speed. May not be as danceable, but I'm bopping as I type.

...Oh great, I just thought of the Roxbury guys.

Since the one you linked to first seems to be called the Speedycake Remix, should we call yours the Turklesoup Slowmix?
