I admit I'm behind on NH, but since when does Rochelle work for LOL News? Did she have a breakdown and decide to try a less serious outlet?

(Frankly, I'm impressed that Weber dared to use even basic netspeak in SF.)

Even better, one of the commenters called her Ambrose. Sorry, no sexy wolfess holding the microphone.

"What count Weirdly didn't know is that, due to Einstein's law of reverse thermodynamics, the couch was actually facing the opposite side of the room, so it was impossible for Harry to breathe!"
Seriously, who writes this stuff? Every time I read those comics, I have to scan the bottom to see what the hell the answer is. It normally has nothing to do with the picture. It's always something complicated that a kid would never figure out.
"Shylock knew that Thugg had won the raffle at the local auction dishonestly - realizing that the nine hundredth number in Pi is 4, he put his ticket in AFTER Peggy Sue and Sam put theirs in. Everyone knew he got kicked out of the Indian casino two weeks ago for card counting, so this was no surprise."
"Shylock knew that Sam liked to garden in the nude because he found hairs on the lawn furniture and he repeatedly went to the hospital for brain surgery."

Oh, and don't forget the classic example, from one of Cassandra Cat's first appearances (possibly her first one ever), where the solution hinges on whether or not Cassandra's earrings are cold. Ohh, the Comics Curmudgeon readers had a field day of WTF with that one!

You should never let a Harvard scholar make a newspaper funny.
