Sadly, the stupid "Pursuit Immobilization Technique!" is part of the original comic. It seems almost Engrish... Did they outsource Phantom again?

Well, on Friday and Saturday there was dialog like:

"Quick, before he sees us! Give him the PIT!"
"The what?!"
"The PIT! Pursuit Immobilization Technique!"
"I didn't go to the Police Academy, remember? You do it!"

So it's some sort of cop jargon apparently.

Also, now I have the urge to do another version, changing it to "Fursuit Immobilization Technique", and have a giant fox glomp the car or something. :}
