It's Easter so I was thinking we could have sex.
Happy Easter! I found an odd Easter greeting card the other day at Bubbles Car Wash while I was having my rock chip fixed.

It shows a cartoon bunny standing in a grassy field with Easter eggs strewn about, and the bunny is saying, "It's Easter so I was thinking we could have sex."

The inside of the card says, "Oh sorry, wrong holiday."

I'm still wondering what this means. Is it a sly nod to Easter's origins as a pagan fertility celebration? Or is this just an unintentional coincidence, and it was just meant to be a silly joke?

Makes me laugh, let's go.

The "wrong holiday" might be Valentine's Day. Might also be the nod to the pagan thing as well, who knows.

Surprised they had cards like that in your neck of the world. I'm waiting for the torch-bearing citizenry to burn down the evil that is Bubbles Car Wash.

Valentine's is my immediate guess, too. Either that, or a gift-giving holiday like Christmas.

A card like that might not fly in dinky little Bastrop, Timpson or Vidor for all I know, but here in Houston, which is a big city (a big *spraaaaawwwling* city), folks are more tolerant.

I was out shopping for an Easter card for Jitters and it had two bunnies snuggling on the couch saying, "Hey honey, let's do what bunnies do all night long..." Open it up and it says, "Dye Easter eggs!"

Perhaps they were implying the rarely recognized Feast of Saint Fuckabunny?

Maybe we should take Johnathan Colton's advise and wait for The First of May (NSFW!)
