Slightly different album cover meme copied from [info]inaki
1. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random
The first article title on the page is the name of your band.

2. http://www.quotationspage.com/random.php3
The last four words of the very last quote is the title of your album.

3. http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days/
The third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.

4.Use your graphics program of choice to throw them together, and post the result as a comment in this post. Also, pass it along in your own journal because it's more amusing that way:

Sheesh, more pretentiousness than talent! They'll break up after one album, and the only member who'll ever be in another band is the drummer. Who'll also be the drummer in the new band.

Now that's a soulful jazz album. (I just hope it's not a mediocre soulful jazz album...)

Well, with a title like "Justified in Silencing Mankind"...

I suppose it could be a politically-charged protest album.

Band name: Charta Oecumenica
Album Title: "Right to the Fruit"
Album Cover: http://www.flickr.com/photos/21034256@N08/2148010265/

Sounds like something Feloni might have slapped together.

Band Name: Odelsrett
Album Title: Transform Into a Door
Album cover: A deciduous forest, strung with Christmas-type lights, in a blizzard

Based on the name alone, I was going to say, "Aha, I'm Scandinavian death-metal, am I?" -- but the title and the album cover are leaning me more toward prog-rock.

Band Name: Jubilee
Album Title: Never Scrutinize or Question
Album Cover: Sunset on the San Francisco Bay

Not bad, but I hope the title is meant to be ironic.

Based on the band name, it sounds like it could be a Christian rock band (in fact, I think there may have been a Christian rock band by that name, if I weren't so busy, I'd do a bit of Google-fu to find out) - I was heavily into Christian rock/metal as a teen, and still listen to a lot of it, partly for reminiscing to my teen years, and partly because it's still good music (even if you are diametrically opposed to the content of the lyrics, it's still great music!)

If one uses that theory, the album title seems quite apt.

On Wikipedia, two noted bands have the name, but neither is identified as Christian.

The title is from a Voltaire quote - "Every man is guilty of the good he didn't do". Not bad, I think.

It's interesting how taking just the last four words of the quote sometimes changes the meaning. Like the ones on Inaki's post:
"lies in human choice" ...A clever play on the double meaning of the word "lies", suggesting that we are all victims of our own self-delusion!
"life, lessen thy meals" ...A stern observation of, um, insert art criticism blather here, sometimes the world throws more at us than we can handle, bla bla bla.

I usually don't participate in these, and by the looks of the results (especially [info]darksasami's - wow!), it seems to require more creative talent in the cover art production stage than I have.

However, after clicking on the artwork link (since I didn't know that there was something one could use for a "Random" for Flickr) and having the result come out as something that would make a darn fine album cover imho, I came up with:

Band: Matt Murphy (who also happens to be a blues guitarist, so it worked!)

Album title: "But wish we didn't" (ehhh, I knew I couldn't get a perfect matchup like most of you did).

Album art: an amusement park ride (what are those things called?)
