Chicago & Morphicon
I shall be visiting Morphicon this year, but first I'll be making a side trip to Chicago, because I've been wanting to visit the town sometime other than MFF, when it's not the dead of winter.
I may have mentioned this before, but I made a slight change in my travel plans. I was originally going to drive the whole way, but after straining my back on the way home from Tucson, I thought, bah, I don't want to go on another road trip anytime soon, so I bought plane tickets. Here's hoping this massive round of flight cancellations I've been hearing about lately doesn't spread to Continental, or if it does, that it all gets straightened out before my trip.
My schedule will be:
Tuesday, May 13: Fly to Chicago. Rent a car. Check into the Hyatt Regency Woodfield.
Wednesday, May 14: Sightsee in Chicago.
Thursday, May 15: Spend the day driving from Chicago IL to Columbus OH. Check into the Holiday Inn in Worthington that was a Radisson last year.
Friday, Saturday, Sunday, May 16-18: Enjoy Morphicon.
Monday: Hang out in Columbus.
Tuesday: Fly home. (9 persons said stuff | say some stuff wydoncha) |
